Three veterans were buried with honors; but with no family members present. What could have been a very lonely funeral service was attended by hundreds of community members that packed the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee.

Memphis Ukulele Flash Mob Entertains the Runners for St. Jude Marathon 2018

The Memphis Ukulele Flash Mob entertained participants in the St. Jude Marathon on Sat. December 1st, 2018.

“The St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is the single largest one-day fundraising event for St. Jude. Every race course passes through the campus of St. Jude, one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers.”

“St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases, particularly leukemia and other cancers. The hospital costs about $2.4 million a day to run, and there is no cost to the patient to be treated.” St. Jude Website
